About this site....

The horses on this site from the Carpe Diem herd will be available at public sale. This website was created in the interest and future welfare of the Lusitanos, in hope that by providing details an interested buyer may obtain information on the availability.

For Sale, April 15th:
Quimbanda aka Fabio
Son of Umbaba

APRIL 15TH SALE

The photographs and information is taken by permission from the Carpe Diem identification farm files dated August 2008.

Parties interested in obtaining a Lusitano from the Carpe Diem herd can place a bid at the upcoming sales in Joseph, Oregon.

The sale is held at the Wallowa County Rodeo Grounds in Joseph, Oregon and are conducted by the Sheriff. Public Notices are posted in Joseph about 10 days prior to the sale and sale dates will be posted on the info page as we receive them.

The sheriff does not have detailed information on the horses, so this site was created in effort to provide ID information. We do not have access to current photos or video, so please do not ask, as we will not be able to honor any requests of that nature.

The horses are well fed and cared for, and if/when necessary have received veterinary attention. Some mares may have foals at their side. This site will be updated when that information is available.

This site is strictly a volunteer effort. No proceeds or funds were received from any source and no one benefited from the creation of this site. It was created as a service for all those interested in the opportunity to purchase one of these wonderful well-bred horses.
